Game-Winning Dips and Healthy Tips
Garlic Hummus Recipe
Prep Time: 10 minutes
2 cans (15 1/2 ounces each) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
4 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup lemon juice
4 tablespoons cold water
1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
Extra-virgin olive oil
Dash of paprika for garnish
In food processor, puree chickpeas, garlic, salt, lemon juice and water until very smooth, about 3 minutes.
Add tahini paste and process additional 2 minutes.
Spread hummus into shallow serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle top with paprika. Yields 8 (1/4-cup) servings.
